Your journey begins from Athinios Port, Santorini’s dramatic harbor nestled beneath towering volcanic cliffs — the gateway to the island’s world-famous caldera.
As ADONIS gently sails into Santorini’s volcanic basin, guests are immediately surrounded by breathtaking cliffside villages, dramatic volcanic formations, and endless panoramic Aegean views that make Santorini one of the Mediterranean’s most extraordinary destinations.
Our first destination takes us toward Santorini’s legendary Volcano & Volcanic Hot Springs, where guests may enjoy the cruise’s first swimming stop. Here, warm sulphurous waters rich in minerals naturally flow into the sea through underwater volcanic activity, offering a truly unique volcanic swimming experience unlike any other.
Please note: swimming in the Hot Springs is not recommended for guests with heart conditions, severe asthma, respiratory sensitivities, or other serious medical conditions due to the warm sulphurous waters and high mineral concentration.
Leaving the volcanic waters behind, ADONIS continues sailing north through the caldera past the peaceful shores of Thirasia Island, Santorini’s untouched sister island known for its authentic Cycladic charm and crystal-clear waters. Here, guests enjoy the cruise’s second swimming stop in the tranquil blue waters of the Aegean.
Continuing onward, we approach the enchanting coastline of Ammoudi Bay in Oia, framed by dramatic volcanic cliffs and Oia’s world-famous whitewashed village perched high above the sea — one of Santorini’s most iconic and photogenic locations.
Our voyage then carries us beneath the majestic cliffs of Imerovigli and the legendary Skaros Rock, once Santorini’s medieval fortress capital and today one of the island’s most breathtaking landmarks.
As we continue through the caldera, we sail past the charming Old Port of Fira, resting dramatically beneath the cliffs of Santorini’s capital and offering spectacular panoramic views of the island’s volcanic landscape.
From there, ADONIS sails toward a sheltered coastal location selected according to weather conditions, where guests may enjoy the cruise’s third swimming stop in crystal-clear waters surrounded by Santorini’s spectacular scenery.
