Private - Morning cruise (Volcanic islands – Hot springs – Thirasia – Oia )

Cruise Details:

At 09:45 A.M. you are welcomed aboard our 65 feet schooner, the Adonis, by Captain Christos Vlachos and his crew.

After a safety-briefing, you can enjoy the marvels Santorini is known for across the globe.

We always suggest a route, based on our knowledge of the island and weather conditions; of course, we will fine tune the itinerary to your needs and preferences.


For this morning cruise we suggest the following:

After departure from Athinios port (09:45 A.M.), we will make our way to the hot springs, located at the Nea Kameni volcano.

Arrival at the hot spring will be at around 10:15 A.M and we will have until 11:00 A.M. to enjoy these hydrothermal sulphurous springs, praised for the benefits they provide for our skin. Keep in mind that they stain light colored bathing suits.
Important to note is that this experience is only for strong swimmers, because of the shallowness of the springs we cannot enter by boat. This means that upon arrival we need to swim from the boat until the shallow springs.

At 11:00 A.M., we depart and we will cruise to the island Thirassia and at 11:45 A.M. approx. we should have reach the picturesque bay of Korfos. This is where you can enjoy Thirassia’s crystal clear waters, and in the meanwhile we will serve lunch.

We depart at 12:45 P.M., cross over to the Northern tip of Santorini, where we find Oia (pronounced “ia”) on the cliffs. Seen from the sea, this offers undoubtedly one of the most impressive sights Santorini has to offer.

From here then we take advantage of the prevailing Northern winds and sail back Southwards to Athinios port, where transfer will be arranged for a safe drive back to your hotel. We are scheduled to return at Athinios port at approx. 14:15 P.M.

  • 09:45 A.M. - Departure from Athinios Port
  • 10:30 A.M. - Swimming in the sulphuric hydrothermal springs
  • 11:00 A.M. - Cruise to the island Thirassia
  • 11:45 P.M. - Reach the picturesque bay of Korfos for swimming and lunch
  • 12:45 P.M. - Cross over to the Northern tip of Santorini, where we find Oia on the cliffs
  • 14:15 - Arrive back at Athinios port
